This great volunteer opportunity was through Habitat for Humanity! Myself and several other members got the opportunity to go to a build site where we learned more about what Habitat for Humanity does, helped clean and organize inside the houses being built, and moved wood scraps and trash around the area. Overall, great experience!
This opportunity was through a philanthropy event through Theta Tau. Myself and 2 other members volunteered to be judges at a local robotics competition at Woodland Junior High. We were tasked with conducting interviews with several teams, asking them about their design process, coding, and team dynamic. We also went over engineering notebooks, specifically looking for in-depth analysis and organization. Overall, this was a fun opportunity and I plan to volunteer here again in January!

Habitat for Humanity
I volunteered today with a group at Habitat for Humanity. I visited a house at 314 E 11th St, Fayetteville, AR. I was asked to help with putting up drywall in the home. I was given a pouch, gloves, and a drill. I was taught how to measure, cut, and screw on drywall. I was mainly helping out with screwing on the drywall to the studs and learning the best approach to screwing on drywall.
