I really enjoyed helping with the craft for one of the clients birthdays!

The staff at Next Step Ministries are focused on positive interactions with their clients, and I admire what they do on a daily basis.

It was a positive environment filled with community and learning.

I enjoyed the environment and I look forward to doing work there soon.

Today we celebrated St. Patrick's Day. We had a slow morning as we were waiting for more attendees to join us. We made green eggs with a waffle maker, which made them turn out so cute. Everyone was very involved with helping to make a tasty treat. After that we watched a movie and colored some paper. I worked on a word search with one of the young ladies and we had a blast.

I really enjoyed volunteering at Next Step. Everyone I worked with was super friendly and welcoming to me for the entirety of my stay. I really enjoyed working and spending quality time with the clients as they were always so cheerful. I am going to continue to volunteer at Next Step as it was such an amazing time. I would definitely recommend this for whoever is wanting to work with people with Special Needs. I am very glad I got to work with Next Step.

It was a great immersive experience with a positive and uplifting environment.
