At Next Step Ministries, we serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who have aged out of high school.
In 2009, we opened doors and started serving individuals in a small rental space located in Woodstock, GA near Hwy 92. Our mission was to fill a gap in the IDD educational system. Rather than focusing on getting high functioning adults with IDD career-ready after graduation, we provide services to individuals with more severe/profound diagnoses through the use of our day programs.
In 2014, we left our small rental facility and moved to a larger location where we currently serve about 60 individuals daily. Interest in our programs is constantly increasing. In the coming years, we hope to break ground on a new building right next to our current location to be able to provide services to more members of our community.
