Today I helped organize one of the rooms I was assigned to. When the kids arrived, I worked with two students on reading their books and assisted another child with her fractions homework. After we finished homework time, I helped the kindergarteners write stories to go along with the gingerbread houses they made.
Today I supervised the children during outdoor play, then brought them inside for snack time. Afterward, I helped with cleanup and made sure everyone was getting along and staying in a positive mood.
Today, I supervised the children’s playtime, helped keep the environment fair and calm, and made sure the kids stayed in good spirits. It was a great opportunity to practice patience and maintain a positive atmosphere even with the schedule change.”
