I got the honor to volunteer at Impact day alongside Councilman Hough Holston as an intern for the Greensboro Housing Coalition. We spent the day providing food, resources, clothing, and portable showers for the homeless people in our community
I had a wonderful time, teaching the children NAACP history.
On the 23rd, I assisted my sewing ministry in stuffing hand-sewn stockings to donate to the less fortunate for Christmas
I donated a box of hygiene products containing 100 items in it. The box included items such as stocking stuffers such as wipes, toothpaste, mini body wash, tooth brush, hair brush, etc. The overseerer of this drive agreed to sign off on 1 community service hr/every 10 items donated
A program that serves elderly, handicapped and convalescing people, who reside within a designated service area and are greatly restricted in their ability to procure meals. Each recipient receives hot and cold food and a container of milk or juice. Special diets are available upon doctor's written orders. Volunteers deliver meals Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM.
