College Transfer Made Easy: DMV Archive Edition (mini session - Transfer)

I recently attended the College Transfer Made Easy: DMV Archive Edition event, and it turned out to be one of the most helpful sessions I’ve joined this semester. The presenters explained the transfer process clearly, especially for community college students in the DMV area, and they broke down everything from application timelines to choosing the right university. They also shared useful resources like credit-transfer tools, major planning tips, and examples of successful student transfers to schools like UMD.

Fall Decision Day Open House - Campus Tour

During the Fall Decision Day Open House, I volunteered at the registration check-in table, which gave me a valuable opportunity to interact directly with prospective students and their families. My main responsibilities included welcoming guests, confirming their registration information, handing out event materials, and guiding them toward their assigned sessions or campus tours. This experience helped me strengthen my communication and organizational skills as I learned how to handle a steady flow of visitors while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude. I enjoyed being one of the first people new students met.
