I volunteered at Faith's Kitchen for the dinner shift 4:30-6:30pm. I completed my volunteer hours at The Faith Kitchen in San Antonio, Texas. Completing the hours felt rewarding, and I enjoyed being part of a team working toward a shared goal. I saw how much a hot meal and a friendly face meant to the people we served, and how a small amount of time can make a real difference in someone’s day. Giving back to my community made me feel grateful for what I have and more connected to the people around me, and it motivated me to keep volunteering in the future.
