The St. Nicholas Ball is a fun way to dress up and meet Catholics and philanthropists in San Antonio. I was tasked with keeping track of bidding amounts for the live and silent auction, and I assisted with taking down the silent auction setup and giving people their items. The coordinators are very nice and they gave us goodie bags and food.
Great opportunity to clean up the care center. You'll always be able to find something to do even in a large group. Catholic Charities always has nutritious snacks and water for volunteers
I checked to make sure that the bidding amounts for the silent auction were correct and helped pack up when the auction closed. Staff and fellow volunteers were very helpful and provided us a break room full of snacks and drinks and gave us plenty of time to eat dinner
