Truly enjoyed the volunteer experience with the United Community Center. It was a pleasant surprise seeing other UWCA staff there. LaDonnya was pretty helpful in providing some background information on the initiative, which was awesome! This event serves a great need in the community, and I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it. Looking forward to volunteering again.

GREAT volunteer opportunity! I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to work alongside Rebecca, Kristin and Ashley at the Birmingham Museum of Art "Villains and Heroes Exhibit." The exhibit was engaging and fun - the costumes were AMAZING!

I am somewhat new to UWCA, so I figure volunteering within the agency is a good way to get to know people. I honestly could not have chosen a better department for a first-time volunteer experience. Volunteering with the Meals on Wheels Kitchen team was surprisingly chill and pretty relaxing. The team is very well organized, and every aspect of service is thoughtfully executed. I will definitely volunteer again in the very near future. Thanks for having me, Meals on Wheels team!
