We learned the important requirements of keeping our scholarship in good standing
At White Oak Medical Center on Friday, May 3rd as a volunteer, I assisted the nurses and doctors in Labor and Delivery with different tasks which included assisting in helping put together postpartum bags together. The nurses can take these bags to the new rooms. I also assisted in transferring new and cleaned infant beds to the labor and delivery for new babies coming into the world. I really enjoy being a part of the lives of the patients and their little ones.
I loved this session about resumes! Even tho I have some background on resumes and cover letters, it was great to learn more information I can use in my next resume.
At White Oak Medical Center on the Labor and Delivery Floor, I assisted in putting postpartum bags together and distributing them out to empty rooms. I also helped at the main desk and answered phone calls from nutrition services and other partnering services. I also assisted in bringing binders from the mother-baby ward to the labor and delivery. I also met some new nurses and got to know their careers as well.
