It was great to team up and help a family move.

It was a pleasure setting up homes with the other volunteers. Would love to do this again. The need is great and the workers are few.
Most people came at the beginning of the window. Luckily there was a cool place in the shade to sit when no one was moving in. I felt a lack of guidance at Clement Hall. I just picked up information from random people. The people in yellow vests seemed to know more, but directed me inside to check in as a volunteer. (But that checkin was only for students) So I went out and learned information about where to park and how to delineate between N, C, and S spaces which were all in the same garage. Someone said may volunteer shirt was optional but it did seem imperative for when people were handing you their stuff or interacting with you. People did ask to be allowed to break the rules for just a minute while they did x, y, or z. I didn't know what to tell them or who to turn to. Since we weren't that busy we did end up being more flexible. Overall I had a good experience.
