I did not know that Children's Hospital has a community outreach program. This event was held at Dick's sporting goods in the west town mall. I had so much fun meeting everyone. It was fun interacting with little kids and getting to help learn about safety in physical activity. With this event, I got to introduce each family to this event and helped them with a scavenger hunt. This outreach needs more volunteers for their events. I highly recommend volunteering here.

This event was very fun. I got to meet little kids and their families that were excited to talk about black history month. There are so many people that are ashamed to be black or hate being black due to racism. It made me happy to see little kids and their families proud to be African-American.

Everything was well organized. I learned where food4vols was all about. Everyone was super nice. The food prepared look delicious and had variety of foods.

My role was to help kids with their art projects. I helped provide a fun, safe, and clean space for the little kids. I loved seeing how creative each kid was. I helped show some little girls how to make reindeers.

I helped seal the bags for macaroni and cheese packages. I loved this because all the volunteers help families, couples, fellow classmates and so many more have food for the holidays. It brakes my heart that not everyone has access to food.
