Today I helped with the floor exhibits from 1130 to 1430. I had the chance to help out with the food city exhibit and a sink or float exhibit which the kids thought was super interesting. I had a great time volunteering at Muse as always.
I served from 12-2 pm on 10/01 helping with the floor exhibits. They opened a new exhibit which was grocery shopping and it was so cute to see the kids pick items off the shelves and check them out.
Today I volunteered for 6 hours at MUSE Knoxville. I had a butterfly exhibit set up and was able to talk to the kids about the different types of butterflies in Tennessee and the different life stages.
Today was test day for level 4A. the test has an audio portion as well as grammar using the phrased "should have" and "shouldn't have" when referring to past tense actions. All students did well and were very happy!!
Today I taught level 3 class. We went over the phrase "use to" and "used to" and also spoke about the best way to approach an English conversation when some of the english words are unknown.
The second half of the shift was so fun. I got to interact with the children at one of the stations I set up which was a weight balance so kids could pick items out of a plastic bag and see what weighed less, more, or the same. Everyone was so nice and will definitely be returning!!!
I had such a great time volunteering at MUSE. The staff was so nice and the children were adorable.
Today I came in a little earlier to help Rubi with the new students of our 4A or advanced class as it was their first day. I also helped grade exams for many different levels.
Today was test day in 4A. We did a review of the unit before the exam. All students did exceptionally well on the exam!!
Today I taught 1B again. We had lessons E and F which went over reading and writing and filling out forms.
