I served from 12:00-3:00, cleaning up a children's playground. We picked up trash around the playground.

We walked around campus and picked up trash that was left around. We also made sure to separate the recycling and trash that we found so that all of te recyclables were able to be recycled at the end of the day.

At Volthon, making goody bags for the children in the hospital was so much fun. Seeing such a large group of people come together to raise money for the kids who need it so much is so rewarding. I was happy to give them just a little bit of joy during a difficult time in their lives.

We picked up food from Neyland and transferred them to the Culinary Institute. At the Culinary Institute we transferred the food over to trays to put them into a freezer truck. The truck then brought the extra food to be donated to those in need.

We collected shoes for kids who are underprivileged. We, along with Tennessee Valley Authority, collected these for children going to school so that they also got to experience getting a new pair of shoes before the school year starts. We also collected school supplies and gave those to children before their school year started.

I helped with parking at a youth baseball tournament. I provided directions to people coming through and helped provide them with the necessary information for the day.I thought it was great seeing all the excited athletes, parents, and coaches. I also would bounce around to help in other areas of the tournament when needed
