This career summit brought in professional from all facets of the business world. Psychiatrists, policemen, advisors, and etc. We discussed culturally relevant professionalism, branding (cover letter, resume, and social media), workplace decorum and problem solving with black alumni panel, conflict resolution in the workplace, and how to create professional development goals.

During this impact, we had an error in scheduling, however, we were still able to make the most of it!
We made out way over to reconsidered goods are were able to help sort through cloths and fabric in the processing part of the center.
During this experience, I learned the grunt work done in volunteer work is just as importance as the meticulous thinking factions of it. I gave my time at a second hand store in the back processing fabrics and folding clothes. While it may have seemed mundane, the overall impact by the work accomplished put a huge dent in their work load.

During this impact, I did tabling for BDP to generate interest amongst students. I essentially gave new students a run down of what to expect from the club.

In this event, we discussed the facets of what personal finance looks like as a black man in America. We discussed loans, investments, car and house insurance, understanding mortgages, and much more. We even has a black local owner of a financial insurance/investment firm come out and give us more insight on personal finance.

During this impact, Brothers Doing Positive met at A Simple Gesture, and donated our time sorting through donated goods and placing them on shelfs.

During this event, we kicked off the school year with fellowship and great words of wisdom from multiple keynote speakers. We also gauged goals where we would the origination to go through the year. We accessed the room for insight from current members, future members, alumni, and mentors on some ideas for workshops to have as well as scheduling them.

This was a five star experience to say the least. I attended the Shaklee 2022 Global Conference in Kansas City, Missouri, and it was phenomenal. The conference consisted of 4 sessions, with exhibits and expos set in in between time. At the conference we discussed new product drops for the company, team engagement with our Shaklee teams, as well as ways to network better with team member and potential clients online, in person, or over the telephone.
