It was a great day for It's my park day. We had 3 volunteers who use the park . We scrapped and painted two old picnic tables plus a swing. We tried to remove graffiti with no luck. We spread 2 lbs of wildflower seeds . We got thanked my many people , saw lots of dogs, and the first bluebonnets !!
I cleaned Lake Creek trail park. I got a .5 bag of trash and 1 bag of recyclables.
I cleaned Tanglewood park. I got .5 of trash and recyclables . HEB picked up their cart.
I cleaned Riata Park. I got a bag of trash/recycling mostly from likesode and dry creek on east side.will go back to get more trash next week before the next rain
I cleaned Balconies District park. I got a bag of trash mostly near the playground and tree lone
I cleaned Rattan park and creek on the east end. I got a bag of trash mostly in creek bed.
I clean Gaines Creek Neighborhood park. It was supposed to a a group effort the address was confusing. I got a full bag of trash and full bag of recyclables from the dry creek bed and there is even more to get but access is tough
I cleaned old stage park. Some trash but park in good shape . Too bad tennis courts and dog parks can't be used much
