Good experience overall, really easy to put on a movie and type a bunch out.

Impacts
Not the most entertaining community service, but I like doing busy work like this I could just sit and grind out bunch at a time.
Sorry I'm late adding the impact! I really enjoyed transcribing these letters, I actually took a little extra time just to read through them before I started typing them. I thought it was really interesting to read a letter written in the 40's from Idaho. It's cool to think about what a place so close to home was like back then.
Awesome to see another timeline of events from the 1900s, a time period I'm particularly interested in.
It was very cool to transcribe the newspaper articles in chronological order. They spanned over the entire span of World War 2 so although it was challenging, I got to see a timeline of big events that took place during the war and what people were hearing about back then.
Transcribing the letters was actually really interesting. It was cool getting to see letters that were written and sent from the 1940s, even if they weren't the most interesting topics it was something I've never done before and it was cool to see how families and friends stayed in touch back then.
Talked about a lot of topics that I think are important in our community.
I thought the discussion was very insightful about mental health issues we as students face and people during a pandemic. With this being part of our philanthropy I thought it was good to learn more about it so I could contribute more to our community through working with the fraternity to raise awareness and other things.
I thought the presenters and panelists put on a great presentation. The panelists were prepared and knew what they were talking about. It was also really interesting seeing photos and hearing about the history of protests on WSU's campus and how students used their first amendment rights to make the changes they wanted to see in the world.
