I had a fun time helping out at the Palouse community center. The ladies in charge were very kind and funny. The experience made me realize how much of an impact you can make with something as seemingly little as spending a few hours helping out with preparing meals and cleaning up. I would definitely recommend others to come help out with the weekly Palouse senior meal assistance and give back to the community!

I learned valuable information regarding discrimination to Central American immigrants in Texas across the past several decades as well as the importance of civil involvement and making a difference. Inequality for immigrant workers is an extremely relevant issue and must be better addressed.
