Assessment in Action for IHE: The Elective Carnegie Community Engagement Classification

This was a great opportunity to invite campus partners to attend an information session about how community engagement entails deep authentic partnerships and driving the message regarding honoring community knowledge so that it is included and valued. This is a new way of doing things for some and building that collective awareness is important.
I also appreciated information about the application cycle and preparation for the process. This generated ideas in preparation for bringing campus partners together around the same CE framework approach.
