I have been volunteering my time & energy at this park for 10 years with other neighbors. It is refreshing to see new faces and watch the progress from our previous efforts finally growing into a more natural creek area. Removing invasives from the swales was most rewarding task today!

I loved learning about the restoration project on Boggy Creek and the benefits to my neighborhood. It was also nice to hear from the City of Austin Engineer, Lee Sherman. I can't wait to see the finished product!

The REI sponsored bike maintenance workshop was very informative & stressed the importance of a properly functioning bike(i.e. brake adjustments, greasing of chain & derailed) for safety on the rode. Also, gained info on the other bike repair stations & the use of common tools for my bike. I truly loved this bike focused session since I am a local urban biker. Great addition to this event!!

I would like PARD/REI to include a session about the rules of engagement on the road for bikers & cars & provide info(i.e., website, map) of the location of new bike lanes that have been added throughout the city. This may help with encouraging city folks to use an alternative mode of transportation.
