Pack Reclaimed Food with Out of Garden Project

I had a great time gaining further exposure to an impactful nonprofit, Out of the Garden Project, through this hands-on experience to address food insecurity in Guilford County.

This was my first time volunteering with Out of the Garden Project. I really enjoyed my experience. My favorite part of their program is that they do not just discard of the food they are not able to use. Food that cannot be given to the families, is given to farmers. I think that’s an awesome way to continue to cycle of giving back.
