I had a wonderful time helping newcomers into the school to learn about the Promise Scholarship that would greatly benefit them. Also working together with other volunteers to assist people in registration and food serving.
I enjoyed helping out with the open house along side my peers. As well as helping people find where they needed to go.
Guided interested future Promise recipients into the presentation venue, as wekk as announced, and distributed. Was fun getting to work with fellow peers.
I arrived on time and was able to help both student and parents on where to go and giving flyers.
I spent today helping out new PGCC Promise students get to their designated locations and answering their questions. I also helped set up the tables and food.
I was helping Charles Rogers with the new students that needed help getting to right location for their session.
I showed up ready to help, and ended up walking a bunch of parents and upcoming students to the right rooms, handing out flyers, and making sure no one missed out on the free snacks and drinks. It felt good knowing I actually helped people and lead them to the right direction.
