I helped set up tables and also helped some artists prepare their stations by unloading their artwork.

I arrived early at 2:50pm and got a quick rundown of what the volunteers were supposed to do. I started my "set up" shift at 3 and helped two artists set up their stand. They had beautiful works of art, and I learned it called: Art Welding, or where they use scrap metal and weld it together to make something. Afterwards, I helped other artists set up their booths before handing out maps of the event, explaining the use of it and to do the survey to help keep ArtWalk free. Then I passed out water to the venders, answered any questions they may have. I helped the other volunteers with their jobs before the event finally ended at 8, to which I helped booths pack up before helping the volunteers with cleanup of the event and finally, I helped gather and put away maps.
