The work was finished in a little over 1hr because there were so few resources/supplies. Lots of people and lots of tools, but only about 10 lawn bags for refuse and not enough mulch to even fill the front bed with the park signage. If we would have known, we would gladly have brought 30 more lawn bags and donated more mulch. Maybe asking for an optional $5-$10 at registration could have funded a lot more supplies? Also, consider treating fire ant mounds BEFORE the event. Lots of kids running around helping and there were several giant, dangerous mounds. Otherwise, everyone was in good spirits and this is a great community event. We love Brentwood Park.
