ReFresh Session (4th session)

The refresh session was very educational. It was well organized, and pertinent information was discussed. One of the significant changes discussed in the meeting is that the 15 required hours must be submitted within seven business days after the event. Additionally, it was discussed which PGCC events are acceptable and which are not toward the required 15 hours. I am grateful for this scholarship, and this refresher course helps me stay aware of what is needed to ensure I remain in good standing and continue to receive my scholarship.

The Special Scholarships Program Refresh session that clarified the program requirements and responsibilities through an interactive zoom session. The game was a great idea to keep students engaged and make the information last.

I am so glad to be a part of this massive community of students, it’s truly inspiring to be around passionate .The session was really informal, the focus was on maintaining good standing for the scholarship, and I gained a clear understanding of the expectations thanks to the interactive format, especially the use of Kahoot, which made the experience both fun and memorable. One of the key takeaways was the requirement to complete 15 engagement service hours each semester. Additionally, students must attend two mandatory meetings per semester, including this refresh meeting, and participate in at least two out of five themed mini sessions

I am always thankful for these refresh sessions. it helps you to transition back into the semester, from the small break we have in between. The kahoots are nice, because they are very engaging, which helps you retain information better.
