Today I learned more about the navigate progress report. I was also reminded to schedule an appointment with my advisor for this semester. I learned about what getting a W, Fx, or F would mean on a transcript.

Received insight on expectations, advising tools, and semester diagnostics. Also discovered the difference between FX, N/A and W. I hope to select courses more diligently and attentively and to communicate more vocally with my advisor with my steps necessary for graduation.

The event was very informational. While I was already aware of most of the information presented, they also briefed me some unfamiliar terms. It mostly related to Navigate Progress Reports. I was not aware of its existence but to be honest I'm glad I wasn't. Based on the information presented, a lot of the reason stated why a student might recieve a Navigate Progress Report is mostly (3/4 if I recall correctly) negative.
Upon completing this session, I was finally able to set aside time to actually talk to my academic advisor. She assessed my credit progress and reminded me to apply for graduation.

Attending the virtual event was really helpful in understanding how to use Navigate effectively. They walked us through how to find important resources, including how to check who our advisor is, which is especially useful for making sure we stay on track with our academic plans. Learning about progress reports was also valuable because it showed how we can monitor our performance and meet the scholarship progress reports requirement. Overall, the session provided clear guidance on using these tools to stay organized and succeed in our coursework.

This mini session was incredibly informative. I know how to use Navigate better because of the information presented about the progress reports.

I learned useful ways and apps used by PGCC that are great for completing different progress reports. The best times to not schedule an appointment with an advisor would be at the very start of the semester, around withdrawal deadlines for courses, and at the very end of the semester. What I took from this session is that there are things that can really have an impact because of a withdrawal of a course or courses. One could be my timing, withdrawing a course might not be a good look on my transcript depending on my growth of the course, and it may also impact my financial status.
