I got a better understanding of how to use GIvePulse and got my questions answered. I'll continue to use GivePulese to keep a lookout for future events!
I attended this event in hopes of understanding more about the website. Indeed, I've got what was expected. I learned that if the event has an additional 30 minutes, I don't put .30--I put .50 so it would ensure that students don't mess up their hours. For example, if it's 1hr 30min, I put 1.50. I also learned how to submit my event manually and what to put for my reflection (ask yourself: How did it impact you?). This event was resourceful in preventing me from making mistakes in the future, and I hope for more events like these.
I learned how to navigate and log my impacts on Givepulse properly.
The event was well organized.
In this Zoom meeting, I learned more about navigating in GivePulse. The supervisors showed us how to put in our impact hours, how to put service hours outside the school and the community, and more. It was informative and impacted how I will use this website.
It was a good time refreshing how to use GivePulse. As well as some questions I had about it and it was overall very good to know the new features that have been implemented.
In this workshop we planned games and guessed the prices of many different objects. It was fun and we even interacted with the hosts.
I'm honestly glad I attended since it taught me a lot of features of this website and what to do in certain situations. If I didn't attend, I would've probably not known what to do and gotten a lot of things wrong when filling out hours.
The GivePulse Live Demo event significantly boosted my confidence with the GivePulse app! I clearly understood how to sign up for events, log impacts, and track my hours to fulfill my SSP requirements. Plus, with some other handy tips and tricks, I’m more than ready to dive into more volunteer opportunities without worrying about how to manage my records in the app.
