The training helped me to understand the situations of the folks we'll be educating and the resources Amica can offer them. It also made clear the role is to be of benefit to everyone we can and not discriminate against those with criminal records. I'm looking forward to doing this work with the Amica staff. Note that my Microsoft Teams name is my Buddhist name "Dhammadipa Konin Cardenas" but my legal name which I will use for my volunteer role is Melissa Cardenas.
