It was truly an honor to help out FaithAction International for MLK Day of Service, an organization providing immigrant and refugee resources. Coming from an immigrant family, I had been exposed to these resources as a young age, acknowledge the remaining need for fellow immigrants and refugees. As I served at FaithAction, I came to recognize the importance of accessibility and community resources. Thank you FaithAction!
I enjoyed serving the community and giving back. I met new people and learned the importance of checking the expiration dates on labels to prevent food from being wasted that could have been given to other people in need.
