Helped with homework and in the pods!
On Wednesday I went with the kids to various apartments and handed out flyers for their event. We disscused what phrases to say to someone you are handing a flyer to. It was a great way of learning social skills.

I enjoyed helping students with their homework. I helped kids from each pod with math and grammar. I taught long division which was very fun
As I began to go in for more day, I began to feel more and more comfortable in the YELLS environment. I always get greeted by all the children. This day there were finishing up their proposal for their food catering event the children were planning, I also helped with cutting out paper for the event and setting up menus for the parents. This day was a very laid back day.
I was able to be more involved in what the students were setting up for their community events.
