Assisted with the acclamation and repackaging of food from the University of Arkansas Union food court to be distributed to various community organizations to combat food insecurity in the NWA area. The organization aims to reduce food waste while also assisting in serving food to families in need. Through this experience, I got the chance to be a part of a team that works hard to be proactive on campus both through providing for those suffering food insecurity and decreasing negative environmental impacts.
