September Monthly Workday

Join us for the monthly workday. We have garden borders that need attention, and fall garden beds to prep.

We enjoy meeting others interested in learning more about gardening and native plants. There is mowing and weed eating to do, pulling weeds from the pathway or pollinator garden, spreading mulch or compost or sharing your knowledge about something that is in season to be planted now. We like to share vegetables and ideas with each other. We look forward to meeting you and welcome previous volunteers back! 

We have gloves, sunscreen, bug spray at the community garden. Please bring a water bottle. Closed toed shoes are recommended. No restroom on site. We meet at the back of the park in the community garden area. We get started at 9:00 am, work for a while, have a short meeting and wrap up at 11:00 am
