About
Alex Scott got cancer when she was 1 year old. When Alex was 4, she hosted her first lemonade stand raising money for childhood cancer research and raised $2k. By the time she was 8 years old, she appeared on Oprah, met her goal of raising $1 million, and she died several weeks later.
Her parents have continued her mission and Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation has since raised $350 million (including giving St. Jude over $10 million).
Every June, their own Army of Normal Folks host 3,500 lemonade stands that benefit them. This year, all 6 ANF service clubs across the country are going to join in on the impactful fun!
We're hosting one of their "Lemonade Days" on June 27th and you can participate in 5 different ways:
1) We are hosting our main lemonade stand at the Memphis Zoo!!!!! Through their generous partnership, we will be right at the entrance, selling lemonade and kicking childhood cancer in the teeth. Come join us and buy a cup!

2) Hosting a lemonade stand in your neighborhood or at your business. You can signup to host one here and their foundation will mail you a ton of cool print materials that you can have at your stand!
3) Patronizing the Zoo lemonade stand location.
4) Donating to this cause even if you can't attend by visiting the virtual page of our stand.
5) Hosting a lemonade stand. You can do it any time this month, or even this year, but they have a special focus in June.
RSVP to this event if you're planning on doing any of these things.
Our dream would be to have one of these lemonade stands in every single Memphis neighborhood!
This is a great opportunity to teach kids about generosity, the power of one (through Alex's story), and the power of many (through this Army of Normal Folks that have rallied behind Alex's cause).
