BackPack Beginnings’ mission is to connect children and their families to resources needed to thrive.
By ensuring food and basic necessities are given directly to children in need, we make a positive and lasting impact on their health and well-being. Tasks may include making/checking food bags, sorting inventory, and more.

Requirement Details
1. Park in Lot #2 and use the volunteer entrance at the stairs when arriving for your shift. Pull unlocked door, handle does not turn. Sign in and wait for a staff member to greet you in the volunteer waiting area. Arrive no more than 5 minutes early because we need to prep between groups.
2. Dress in layers and closed-toe comfortable shoes to work in our warehouse which is located at 3711 Alliance Dr., Greensboro, NC 27407. The warehouse is warm during the summer and cool during the winter.
3. Feel free to bring your own water bottle. We have a filtered water fountain you can use to refill it.
4. Tasks will vary week to week and day to day. Potential tasks may include sorting incoming donations, assembling food bags, stocking the Family Market, and more.
