About the Summit:
Hosted by Unify America, this virtual half-day summit brings together educators from across Texas to explore how dialogue-based learning can be meaningfully integrated into campus life.
Through interactive sessions and facilitated discussions, participants will examine how civic dialogue can support student learning, leadership development, and institutional collaboration across both curricular and co-curricular settings.
Senior Program Coordinator, Noelani Cubillos-Sanchez, will be a contributing panelist for the “Strengthening Dialogue Across Texas” session. She will share perspectives from her work at UT San Antonio’s Center for Civic and Community-Engaged Leadership.
Participants will:
- Learn practical models for embedding civic dialogue into courses, programs, and student leadership
- Hear from Texas-based educators implementing dialogue across diverse campus contexts
- Gain tools informed by Unify America’s Civic Gym
- Connect with peers to strengthen cross-campus collaboration statewide
