About
Join us for fun and community at PURE Academy in North Memphis. We will be making our first giving circle gift and setting goals as part of our Hope Memphis partnership.
In addition, Melvin Cole, founder of PURE Academy, will be joining us to tell us about the transformative school.
PURE Academy is a nonprofit private boarding school serving young men ages 14-18 in Memphis. With a 100% graduation rate and over 83% of students going on to college or trade school, PURE Academy is proof of what happens when a community refuses to give up on its young people. Some of Melvin's students are referred by juvenile courts and they leave headed to college.
This is the empowering work that Memphis' Army of Normal Folks is here to support.
