About

Volunteer in your community with Friends of Copperfield Nature Trails cleaning up trash along the trail and/or along the streets in the Copperfield neighborhood to keep trash out of the Colorado River.

We provide trash bags, nitrile gloves and pick up tools (but you are welcome and encouraged to bring your own if you have them). While you are picking up trash, enjoy being outdoors and working with like minded volunteers. We will cancel for rain or temperatures less than 45 degrees. Bring your own water bottle. Wear bright clothes for high visibility. We'll meet at the Blakeney pond trail entrance where street parking is available, have a brief welcome and safety talk and then split up into small groups to pick up trash along the creek trail, school trail, in the park, along Yager Lane, and along other trashy streets in the area. Can't make it but want to help? message us with trashy areas in Copperfield area you know about that need attention.
