Open Opportunity

About

Volunteers are direct and in-direct service volunteers who can participate in all SafeHomes volunteer events. Volunteers are required to complete an application, interview, background check, 20 hours of domestic violence training, and a volunteer orientation. We also ask for a 10-hour service commitment each year.

Volunteers at this level can perform the following tasks:

  • Child Care
  • Administrative Assistance
  • Grocery Shopping
  • Grocery Transportation
  • Meal Preparation
  • Resource Fairs
  • Special Events

To register to be a volunteer, visit our website, and return your completed application to julianna@safehomesdv.org

You will then receive our training guide, and instructions on how to become onboarded as a volunteer with SafeHomes.
