Volunteer with ACE Ohio: Upcycle Fabric & Support Sustainability!

Open Opportunity

About

Want to make a real difference for the planet and our community while also getting a discount at your favorite local thrift? Join the Acceleration of the Circular Economy of Appalachian Ohio (ACE Ohio) project in giving sterilized hospital fabric a second life! Volunteers will help remove tape and stickers from donated OhioHealth fabric so it can be upcycled into tote bags and other products for local businesses and nonprofits.

What you’ll do:

Pick up fabric from an on-campus location -- Bingham House (97 Richland Ave)

Help gently peel off stickers, so the fabric is ready to reuse

Neatly fold, bag, and return the fabric

Feel good in knowing that you supported local sustainability efforts
