Hooked on Giving with Peaceful Pieces

In honor of women's history month, the members of Peaceful Pieces will be coming together to create crocheted tote bags for the unhoused women in Greensboro. On Saturday, March 15th, our members will gather to crochet durable and practical tote bags. Our volunteers ranging from experienced to beginner will work together to create these bags. Once completed, these totes will be filled with essential women's hygiene products, including soap, toothpaste, deodorant, feminine hygiene items, and other necessities. The filled bags will then be donated to United Way of Greensboro, which will distribute them to unhoused women in need. Each recipient will not only receive essential hygiene products to use at their discretion but also a reusable, handcrafted bag they can carry with them wherever they go.
