About
Join Austin Ridge Riders Trail Crew for It’s My Park Day at Circle C Metro Park! We are excited to do a trash cleanup of the trails between the Veloway and Slaughter Creek, and we’ll also tackle some basic trimming of deadwood on ashe junipers (also referred to as "punji sticks") that are alongside the trails.
Tools, gloves, and eye protection will be provided, and we’ll demonstrate the pruning techniques we will be using to all volunteers. Meet us at the Violet Crown Trailhead at the east end cul-de-sac of Lacrosse Avenue. We’ll get started at 9am, so we encourage you to arrive a little early. There is ample parking on Lacrosse.
Thank you so much for volunteering and we look forward to seeing you March 1st!
