VICTORY Tutorial is an Austin ISD program that offers free tutoring to students in grades 1-12. Students are matched with volunteer tutors, and they meet for regularly scheduled sessions for a minimum of an hour each week to work on homework assignments and skills for which the student needs extra reinforcement and practice.

Virtual options are available as well as city Library Branches around Austin.

Tutoring is also held during the day and after school at designated partner campuses.

Tutoring will be held Monday and Thursday.

Days and times vary by site.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers tutors needed for free one-on-one and small group sessions! Join passionate tutors in igniting a love for learning. If you are interested in becoming a tutor, seize the chance!

We require a 1 semester commitment for at minimum 1 hour a week.

We are flexible with location, dates, and times so that we can accommodate several students. We generally have a waitlist, so any volunteers we can have will help!

Volunteer Application Process

How to Become a Victory Volunteer

Step 1: Fill out the Victory Tutoring Volunteer Application.

Step 2: Attend Victory Tutoring Volunteer Orientation.

Step 3: Create an Austin ISD volunteer account or login to your existing account.

Step 4: Follow the instructions to complete the requirements to become a volunteer.

When you get to the screen to create your fanned schools list, select "AISD Victory Program."

You will also be required to complete the Background Check Consent Form. The background check process may take 7-10 days.

At any time you may click the My Applications tab to check the status of your background check and all other application requirements.
