Earth Day Celebration: Waterloo Park cleanup & yoga session!

Join us in downtown Austin for a mindful Earth Day Celebration: free yoga and park cleanup session! ♻️🌍

On Sunday, April 14, 2024, starting at 12:00pm, we'll gather at the Moody Amphitheater at the Waterloo Park, where we’ll be combining the tranquility of yoga with a park cleanup, while fostering mindfulness in the beauty of our surroundings.

First, we’ll kick off with a free 45-minute yoga session led by UT Professor Zoe Mantarakis and students. Mantarakis has 17+ years of yoga experience and will help lead a peaceful meditation yoga session- BYOYM (Bring your own yoga mat)!

After the yoga session, we'll come together as a community to participate in a park cleanup. Where we’ll love and care for this beautiful space by picking up litter together. It's a wonderful opportunity to give back to the park that has provided us with a peaceful sanctuary for our yoga practice.

What to bring:

• Yoga Mat and towel

• Workout clothes

• Wear supportive shoes & pants to protect your legs from the brush

• A reusable water bottle

Don't miss out on this great event that combines yoga, community, and environmental stewardship. Mark your calendars and join us for a day of learning and volunteering in Waterloo Park!
