About
St. Stephen's CARE Center is the largest Catholic food pantry and clothing closet in the city of San Antonio. We are now serving up to 100 clients a day.
We are seeking volunteers to create an impact by volunteering as
- Client choice shoppers -Our clients get an allotted number of items to choose from. The volunteer will shadow the client and ensure clients gather the exact number of items allotted and bag the items.
- Pass out transitional sack lunches.
- Stocking the shelves with produce & non- perishable items
- Sorting, washing & bagging produce.
- Sorting donations
- Unloading groceries off trucks
- Sorting & hanging clothing.
In this position volunteers will be in direct contact with clients.
Requirements: Three Virtus Trainings and a Virtus Criminal Background Check
Dress Code: Crew neck T-shirt, Jeans and Closed toed shoes.
