About
Thank you all 2023 FNL volunteers! We need your help this Friday to turn out the lights around campus! Volunteers have helped us turn off over 5,000 lights, and save over $3,000 in energy! That's about 850kWh which is the energy one household uses over a WHOLE MONTH. You are making a difference.
About FNL: For many years this service project, created by students, operated to help save electricity (and thus, detrimental emissions caused by electricity use) on Friday evenings. It's simple: Students go around to designated buildings with data sheets and turn off classroom lights that would otherwise be on for the entire weekend. It results in cost savings AND environmental benefits! And in the process, you get to meet people, have fun, and earn an hour of service credit! SO easy! Reporting location is the second floor of the Union, outside the Theater entrance.
