Store Volunteer

Open to the Public: The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a home improvement store and donation center selling new and gently used furniture, appliances, home goods, building materials, and more! The ReStore accepts donations and sells a constantly changing inventory of diverse, high-quality merchandise to the public at a fraction of the retail price.

All sales go toward Habitat for Humanity: Sales of donated items help Habitat for Humanity of Washington County partner with local families to build, rehabilitate and repair safe and affordable homes in our community and around the world — a good deal for you, your community, and the environment. Together, we can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build a better future while creating stronger neighborhoods.

Our ReStore is looking for volunteers who want to learn new skills while giving back to the community. Often you will be working side-by-side with our future homeowners!

Volunteers will be helping our staff:

·         Process Donations

·         Customer Service

·         Helping Manage Inventory

·         Organize Displays

·         Light Cleaning

·         Refurbish and Repair Donating

·         Organize Warehouse

·         Light Clerical Work

·         Dock Assistant (Unloading/loading items)

Please park further away from the ReStore entrance to ensure our customers have parking closer to the store. Since, there is limited parking- we would like to ask if volunteers can possibly carpool together.Volunteers should wear closed toed shoes and comfortable, modest clothing.
