Garden Day at Gardens at Gus Garcia

We build community doing garden tasks at the Community Garden at Gardens at Gus Garcia each month on the second Saturday, usually starting at 9 AM for 2 to 3 hours. If it is really hot, sometimes we start at 8 AM and end early. Check our Facebook page for last minute updates in the event. 
Fun, feel good volunteer opportunity and a great way to learn from other gardeners. 
Volunteers are required to sign a liability waiver. Recommend sturdy closed-toed shoes, hat, sunscreen, pants and long sleeved shirt, bring a refillable water bottle. 
We often have snacks to reward volunteers for their work and keep your energy level up.
