Austin Rowing Club Cleanup

Greetings Volunteers, we’d like to thank you for volunteering with Keep Austin Beautiful & Austin Rowing Club. You'll be working on giving some extra care to the lake and trails of our beloved Lady Bird Lake. A watercraft will be provided to you by Austin Rowing Club so there is no fee associated. **Please note that if you do not arrive by 10:45 a.m. on the day of the cleanup, you will automatically forfeit your spot on the lake and it will be offered to the next volunteer.**

Your Lake Leader for this site will be Henry Andrastek from the Austin Rowing Club and he will have your cleanup supplies, helpful safety guidelines, and further instructions for you.

Event Details

·    Starting Location: Waller Creek Boathouse (74 Trinity Street, Waller Creek Boathouse, Austin, TX 78701)

·    Parking: Please note that there is no parking available at the boat house so you will need to find street side parking or a spot at the Convention Center Parking Garage, 201 East 2nd St. – with entrances on Brazos St and San Jacinto. (No cash accepted)

·    Things to Bring: A FULL bottle of water, sunscreen, and snack

If you are no longer able to attend, please cancel your shift at your earliest convenience to re-open those spots for registration.
