Shift NameBagging Event
Description

As bagging events are dependent on needs for programs, volunteers in this event may assist with either bagging for our senior food assistance program, shelf stable goods for a mobile pantry distribution, or even possibly bagging produce for an upcoming event if needed. Food Bank staff will ensure all necessary instructions are given before beginning the bagging event.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

Volunteers will set up tables and pallets, move any product onto tables and remove packaging to set up the event. Following a provided menu, volunteers will assist staff in building bags as demonstrated. Volunteers will assist in breaking down any recycle, separating bad produce, and cleaning up after the event if time permits (involves sanitizing, sweeping, mopping).
