Food2Kids Volunteer Event

Assist the Volunteer Department in setting up a bagging event for our partners with UGA Food2Kids to build bag for our child recipients.

Responsibilities: 

Setup:
After building a line of tables, volunteers will pull product following a menu of items and stocking these items from dense to most damageable from the front to the end of the line. Volunteers remove the packaging of product and separate for recycling. Volunteers may count bags for per matching county orders.

Bagging: 
If time permits, volunteers may assist Volunteer Department staff in building some small county orders. Following directions, volunteers will prioritize accuracy than speed while building bags in a moving assembly line to ensure each kid receives the same amount of food in each bag. Volunteers will assist in bagging one county at a time, taking a short break between each county until time is called by Volunteer Department staff.
